Muskingum County Library System’s new website launch was a success on all fronts.
Muskingum County Library System launched their new website last week. The site boasts a vastly improved user experience, a more user-friendly event calendar, a meeting room reservation system, and a simple navigation structure. The new site has all the search functionality and resources the old site had – but with these new features, in a more attractive and easier to use package.
The Muskingum County Library System administration expressed that improving the ease of use of their site was a priority, and the Chepri design team answered the call.
The new Muskingum County Library site has a more intuitive navigation structure, making it easier to find what you’re looking for. Additionally, important pages and features are displayed more prominently on the new site (like the catalogue/search functions and the library card application page), so users will spend less time looking for the information they need.
“The new website is responsive and looks great on mobile.”
The site’s event calendar makes it easier to share events, and certain events you can register for using the website. There’s even an online meeting room reservation system on the new site.
Because Muskingum County Library System boasts six different locations, the new website showcases each branch (with lovely photography by Muskingum County Library’s own Sean Fennell). Plus, it’s easier than ever to see when each branch is open.
The new site is already seeing an increase in traffic in it’s first days after the launch and reviews have been nothing but positive.
With digital content and resources available with only a few clicks, excellent search functionality, the ability to apply for a library card online (with ease), an event calendar and meeting room reservation system, improved and simplified site organization, and a total makeover of the site’s look, Muskingum County Library System has a new website to be proud of.
